"Informal and friendly riverside restaurant in Brantome. Good food at a reasonable price. Tables outside on river bank during the summer. Has a children’s menu"

'L'Auberge, Vaunac'
"Discovered during Easter that the Auberge has just recently been reopened by the daughter of previous owners much to our delight. This is a wonderful typically French country restaurant. Local produce used. Only French spoken and payment is by cheque or cash only. Our favourite restaurant by far, we visit every Sunday for a 3 hour 7 course lunch!!"

'La Renaissance '
"Opened in early 2005, when the bar in the village was converted into a bar and restaurant in La Chapelle Faucher. The couple who own it moved from Normandy so that the menu is an amalgam of the cuisine of the 2 regions "

'Les Dame Gallants'
"A small and typically French village restaurant in Brantome which we visit every Friday for lunch. Madame is very friendly and loves children too. A simple but tasty menu."

'Moulin du Roc'
"This is an excellent restaurant with beautiful gardens in Champagnac-de- Belair. It is expensive but one of the few high quality restaurants in the area to offer a childrens menu. Very welcoming and accommodating."

'Pizzeria'
"The only pizza restaurant in Brantome. Pizzas are cooked in traditional stone oven in full view - when booking ask for a table near the oven to enjoy the experience. Service can be a bit slow in the summer when they get very busy. They speak very good English and are child friendly."
