"Horse riding - excellent stables nearby. Canoeing - on local river. Swimming - indoor and outdoor pools with flumes and sunbathing areas 5 mins away by car. Lake Jemaye is a great day out for all the family - with beaches, play areas, pedalos, restaurants approx 20 mins drive. Aquarium at La Bogue - something different where the kids can stroke the fish. "La Pomme Doree in Neuvic, just behind the church on right. This is an excellent Pizzeria and has takeaways. Their full service restaurant is at the side and has an excellent choice of meals at very reasonable prices. Do try their pasta. You probably need to book for weekend evenings in high season. Lou Marimitou on left 200 metres before bridge as you enter Mussidan from the north. Low cost excellent meals. Le Croquant is a large restaurant on the south side of the road about halfway between Mussidan and Neuvic; 1 km south of Sourzac. The food is excellent and kids very welcome. "
