Village House 3 Bedroom House (AG002475)

My comfortable house is a 2 minute walk from the unbelievable tree lined Midi Canal made famous by Rick Steins French Odyssey on his trip up the canal to taste the local delicacies. It is 5 minutes from the wild untouched River Garonne.

The house has a typically rustic and French feel to all the rooms and is very spacious with a kitchen/dining area and a large reception room with open fireplace. There is a downstairs toilet and a lovely bathroom with bath and separate shower. The garden has a pretty sun terrace perfect for al fresco dining.

There are many facilities in the village of Hure. The local pub is a 2 minute walk, open for food and entertainment. A swimming pool in the next village is open in the school holidays. Other activities in the area include boating and cycling.

This is a great location only one hour from the magnificent Bordeaux with all its wine regions such as St Emillion. There is also the sand dunes and surfing of Arcachon and Cap Ferret a litle fishing port renowned for their oysters. We are only 2 hours from Biarritz and St Sebastien in Spain. The airports of Bergerac and Bordeaux are within one hour car ride and the port of St Malo about 7 hours.

Changeover day normally Saturday, but can be flexible please ask.
