Nestling amongst the hills and forests of this particularly beautiful area. Join us as exclusive guests on our farm which is set on a southerly hillside within 93 hectares, where old breeds of poultry patrol the grounds, the perfect place for walking, cycling, riding or just enjoying the wildlife, rare species of birds and flowers - the nightjar "churrs" at dusk and the nightingale sings in the night.

This region is famous for at least 6 species of birds of prey. It is also a painters paradise - you are welcome to use "the roost" (mobile home with views over the countryside) during daylight hours at no extra charge, if you want to paint, watch or listen to birds or simply chill out with a bottle of wine!

If you are interested in farmlife, you can help me milk 'Mignon', 'Pinky', 'Silkie' and 'Babs', or simply enjoy the milk and collect the eggs from my pretty leghorns. Some of our guests like to see Kelvin at work at haytime or harvest with his machinery. You might even see a calf born or chicks hatching.

There is so much to see and do, ranging from exploring volcanoes, Roman art, and the Musée de Résistance. There are excellent restaurants locally, street markets, brocantes, châteaux, lakes, sporting facilities and Europe's largest chain of volcanoes. You can see the Roman fort and eat lunch on top of the famous "Puy Dôme". Ten minutes drive to banks and shops and what a pleasure to drive on our excellent and virtually empty roads. 

Accommodation. Tastefully refurbished to retain its character, 1 twin or double bedroom (Laura Ashley decor) and a sofa. Spacious bathroom with spa bath. Lounge/kitchen/diner with beamed ceilings and pine furniture and 2 armchairs. Full size gas cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster. Plus use of washing machine and freezer next to farmhouse. The apartment has oil-fired central heating and parquet flooring throughout.

Downstairs is your garden with furniture and bbq. Ample parking, under cover also if desired. Linen, towels, heating and electric inclusive.
