"Bellevue has a brasserie with sea views within 100yds and a hotel restaurant within 5 mins walk. Nearby are the towns of Plestin and Locquirec which both have a good choice of restaurants. La Belle Fontaine is close to 3 villages - Louargat 3km, Belle Isle 5km and Begard 5 km. At Louargat is the new (07) Prebystere Creperie and Grill open 7/7 (highly recommended), a pizzeria plus restaurant and a midday bar restaurant at the Relais-du-Menir. At Belle Isle is the very upmarket Relais-de-L'Argoat - the hotel restaurant is superb and Sunday lunches a speciality. There is also a very well known creperie opposite the church."

This gite is well placed for visiting all of the above locations but is only 15 mins from Lannion the gateway to the beautiful Pink Granite Coast plus another 5 or so minutes direct to Perros Guirec. Here the sands look as if they have been bleached white especially at chic Trestraou Plage (thumbnail 7). Walk the Sentiers des-Douaniers (Customs Path). From the port on Trestraou Plage you could walk the old customs path or take a 5 min drive to Ploumanach the centre of the amazing volcanic geology that is the Pink granite Coast (thumbnail 4). Tregastel Plage nearby also has wonderful pink granite forms. "

"From Belle Vue Villa, almost every day there are markets. Markets are usually in the mornings only so arrive early! Plestin nr Belle Vue which has a Tuesday evening market and one on Sunday. Locquirec’s is on a Friday and is the largest and the area’s most popular market -an all day affair at Lannion on Thursdays. The food is mornings only. Parking is a nightmare so arrive early!"
