Traditional stone and slate property, situated on the edge of Rostrenen, Cotes d'Armor, Brittany

Inside. Kitchen with microwave, kettle, toaster, juicer, fridge-freezer, coffee maker, gas hob and washing machine. Ample china, cutlery and cooking utensils etc. Centrally heated with plenty of hot water. Large lcd flat screen tv, local and English language channels, X-Box games consol (and games), MP3 hi-fi and dvd system, board games and books. Log burning fire.

Outside. Barbecue, garden, parking, patio furniture, sunbeds, mountain bikes. In the surrounding area you can enjoy fishing, golf, horse riding, walking and other activities.

Location and activities:	The house is approximately a 10 minute drive away from the man-made beach at Glomel offering swimming, watersports, lakeside walks, restaurants, boat hire, fishing and cycling. Brittany has some of the best fishing rivers and lakes in France, as well as something like a third of France's coastline, giving a great variety for keen anglers. Cycling in this part of Brittany is blessed with excellent tracks (and canal towpaths) which are totally free of traffic. The Nantes-Brest Canal is close by and a favourite for the many cyclists that come to this area

"In Rostrenen you will find several banks, boulangeries, Post Office, Chemists, Doctors (Dr.Rault – excellent – english speaking), Tourist Office where you can find information on the area, local places of interest and events that might occur during your visit, plus 3 supermarkets. There are also several places to eat and drink, including the Coeur de Breizh which offers traditional Breton cuisine, the Henry IV (the seafood platter is especially good) and two pizzerias."

'Festival'
"Rostrenen is also known for it's Festival Dañs Fisal (a festival of Breton folk dancing and music), which is held in August complete with a fairground."

'Rostrenen Market'
"Every Tuesday is market day in Rostrenen where you will find a range of stalls offering locally grown produce together with, homemade cheeses and breads, fresh fish and cooked meats. It also boasts an English fish and chip van!"
