Kernormand translates to "Home of the Vikings". It must be one of the most beautiful farms in the area. Set in its own valley and just 10 minutes walk from the town of Callac, Kernormand benefits from the tranquillity of the countryside but still has the conveniences of the town. It also has its very own ancient Viking fortress ruin. Our gite has just been renovated from top to bottom and is now ready to accept visitors. If you love animals and the countryside you'll love Kernormand.

The renovation was finished at the end of 2007. The builders retained the feel of this ancient stone building whilst creating a superbly modern interior with fully insulated and boarded walls and ceilings. The spacious rooms with velux windows are light, airy and instantly relaxing. The original fireplace with new woodburner makes a welcome feature.
