There are 3 ports within the Douarnenez area; Rosmeur - the working fishing port with the bars and restaurants, Port Rhu - with the Boat Museum, older yachts and late night bars; Treboul - the trendier boating harbour, with the yacht club. All are interesting in their different ways.

Treboul also has a Thalasso Health Spa.

Douarnenez is an ideal base for walking, beach and beach sport holidays. There is the Pointe du Raz, the Amorique National Park, the Crozon Peninsula and other places to explore nearby. It is also a perfect starting point for exploring cities such as Quimper with its ancient buildings and cathedral, and Brest with its oceanarium and maritime history.

Rue Louise Michel is a quiet street just yards from Douarnenez town centre and its fishing port of Rosmeur.

Nearest ferry port:	The nearest port is Roscoff, approx 1½ one and a half hours drive from Douarnenez. Brest Airport is an hour away.
Nearest restaurant:	There are many excellent restaurants within a 10 min walk of rue Louise Michel. The seafood is fantastic, and there is no shortage of restaurants catering for other tastes.
Location and activities:	Douarnenez is situated in the SE of the bay of Douarnenez, surrounded by beautiful coastline and countryside. It is a perfect base for walks, swimming, wind surfing, boating of all sorts, or just lazing on a beach.
Bedrooms:	The house has 2 bedrooms; one large with 2 single beds and a portable cot, and a smaller double bedroom. The beds come with duvets and pillows, but not linen. Please be sure to bring your own.
Bathrooms:	There is a bathroom on the first floor, with bath, basin and wc. There is another wc downstairs just off the kitchen.
Kitchen:	The kitchen is at the back of the house, with a door leading to a small back yard. There is a fridge freezer, microwave, cooker, dishwasher and a range of units with all necessary utensils and crockery.
Dining:	In the kitchen there is a dining table with seating for up to 6.
Living area:	The large sitting room is just off the hall as you enter the house. It is equipped with satellite and terrestrial tv, sound system and comfortable sofas.
Outside:	In the yard to the rear there is a shed containing a table and chairs for outside use. Please put them away when you leave.
General:	There is a boiler room off the hall. Hot water is from a combination boiler so there is no need to turn anything on. If you need the heating on there are instructions on the boiler, but please turn dial back to hot water only after use.
Suitability:	All the services including electricity and gas are included in the rent.
