Nearest restaurant:	Josselin has a number of pizzerias and creperies. Hotel du Chateau offers more formal dining with views of the Chateau and river. La Table d'O also has views of the river and good food. A personal favourite is Prieure de Clisson which serves good food in a cosy, friendly atmosphere. A little further afield is the excellent Le Petit Keriquel in La Chapelle Caro.
Location and activities:	Josselin is only 40 minutes from the coast. Ten minutes from the Lac de Duc which offers swimming and watersports. There is a 9-hole golf course beside the lake too. Horse riding is available nearby. Cycle hire and boat hire are also available. There are numerous museums in and around Josselin including the Chateau de Josselin with has a Doll Museum attached. Guided tours are available in English. The Basilica de Notre Dame de Roncier is in the heart of Josselin steeped in history - English tours can be arranged. 2008 is the 1200 year anniversary of the finding of the Statue of Notre Dame de Roncier. The famous pardon is 8th September which is celebrated by an outdoor Mass. The medieval festival of 14th July has been reinstated in Josselin this year.
