Pre-historic cave paintings at Les Grottes de Villars, pony trekking, go-karting, canoeing, lakes for watersports. For everyone else we can offer églises and châteaux (Richard Coeur de Lion was here!), porcelain factories at Limoges, which is also a beautiful city. Neolithic and Roman history. Oradour-sur-Glane (the memorial to the 642 murdered by the SS in World war II). Promenading routes for keen walkers, pretty villages, excellent markets and value for money cuisine in good local restaurants

General:	Our road ends just after the cottage so this is a very peaceful and relaxing spot with very little traffic, yet within easy reach of shops and entertainment. We have 3 family cats and being cats they cannot be kept out of the cottage garden. They are gregarious and will want to say "Hello". They are not allowed in the cottage
Suitability:	The cottage is popular with families with children but couples regularly and repeatedly book Les Ages just for themselves to enjoy the tranquillity that this setting affords
