Enjoy the experience of French rural living in this comfortably furnished open plan property close to village amenities. The spacious living/dining room has a fully equipped kitchen area with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Upstairs are 2 twin bedded rooms, one with an en suite shower room and a separate shower room. The property is equipped with satellite tv, dvd, and cd player. Gas central heating makes it suitable for winter lets.

Children are welcome with travel cot, highchair and buggy available for the younger ones. There is a self-contained garden with barbecue and picnic table in shady area under pergola.

The resident British owners have a dog, two cats, a goat and chickens and often there are cattle in the adjacent fields.

Bed and breakfast is available and short breaks are accepted.

Charges include utilities and linen. 

The property is convenient for visiting Mont St Michel, Avranches (town set on hill overlooking bay, with display of medieval illustrated books from Mont St Michel), Villedieu-les-Poeles (town famous for the production and sale of copper and brass items, with large weekly market and many restaurants), Granville (coastal town with fishing fleet and yacht marinas with mainly seafood restaurants. Passenger ferries run from Granville to Iles de Chausey, an island group off the coast, and the Channel Islands).

Sandy beaches with safe bathing are within 30 minutes drive and include those at Jullouville and Carolles.

Activities available locally include walking, cycling, riding, golf, tennis, fishing and swimming. The zoo at Champrepus, near Villedieu, is well worth a visit.

Slightly further afield are the D-day landing beaches, Bayeux (home of the famous tapestry), Caen (Peace Memorial), St Malo with its walled city and Dinan (medieval town).
