Situated close to the market town of Sourdeval, the property stands in its own grounds of 2 acres, overlooking a valley, with adjoining woodland and stream and has been renovated to provide rustic contemporary living. Excellent area for walking, cycling, golf, markets, restaurants. Within easy reach of Caen, Mont St Michel, Landing Beaches and Bayeux.
The property has been renovated to a high standard having originally been 2 small living areas and a connecting barn. We have retained the oak beams and A-frames, double height stone chimney breasts and original window and door openings.
Downstairs . Open plan lounge/kitchen with log burner, sofabed, tv and dvd player, fully-equipped kitchen, farmhouse table seating 8. Utility room with washing machine, fridge-freezer. Walk-in shower/wc. Separate lounge/bedroom with double sofabed and log burning stove.
Upstairs. Two double bedrooms, 1 on mezzanine with en suite and free- standing bath.
Outside: There are 2 purpose-built barbecue areas with wooden tables and chairs and sloping grounds with scenic views.
NB. Children are welcome at the property, but due to the open plan stairs and sloping grounds, we feel that the property may not be suitable for younger childen.
