Bedrooms:	There are 5 bedrooms in total. Two large bedrooms upstairs, each has a double bed and plenty of room for one or both of the fold up beds. Downstairs, there is another, smaller double and 2 twin bedrooms.
Bathrooms:	One shower room upstairs is shared by the 2 large bedrooms. In the bedroom areas downstairs there is a full bathroom with shower over and a separate toilet. A third bathroom has a seperate shower and bath.
Kitchen:	Our big, farmhouse kitchen is fully equipped for long stays. Dishwasher, 2 fridges, microwave and all the utensils you could possible want! The kitchen table will seat 6 comfortably.
Dining:	The dining room is open plan to the main salon and has patio doors leading out to the pool.
Living area:	Two large living rooms provide plenty of space for large groups. The main salon has and open fireplace and a tv with Sky(so you can watch all your favourite English channels)as well as a dvd and video player. The second salon has another tv with a PS1 and a small table for boardgames etc.
Entertainment on-site:	Private pool. Gamesroom with French billiard table, dvd and video player. Lots of English books. Two tvs with satellite (includes British stations) and cd player.
Outside:	Spacious, totally private grounds with swimming pool and covered area for barbecues. Orchard. Lots of shady spots as well as the sun trap around the pool
Suitability:	This is a great property for families and groups of friends. The downstairs bedrooms make it suitable for less mobile guests.

"During the summer this is a great activity area. Young children will love the bouncy castle and swings while teenagers and the young at heart hire a pedalo or a canoe. Trampolining and mini golf are also available. And for the less active in the family it is a lovely place for a walk along the river. There is a bar/restaurant or you can take a picnic!"

'Cognac Distilleries'
"A stay in Cognac would not be complete without a visit to at least one of the great brandy houses. Tours are run frequently (depending on season) and are fascinating even if you do not like brandy! The Remy Martin tour is taken by train, whilst Hennessy take you on a boat across the Charente. "

'Cognac Market'
"The indoor market has excellent quality food and is an entertaining way to shop! Best produce can be found later in the week (particularly good on Sunday). Recommended for fish and seafood (particularly oysters), charcuterie, vegetables, local cheese and wine."
