Hidden away in the walled orchard of the old farmhouse, Maison Louise, the cottage is quite private, you have your own garden and terrace with loungers, patio table and chairs, in addition you will have the use of our large plunge pool (25ft across) surrounded by palms, the vine covered patio is floodlit at night and there are sunloungers for your use. There is a built-in barbecue.

Open plan new kitchen, stainless steel 5 burner hob and oven, washing machine, microwave. Seating area, comfortable sofa with satellite tv, dvd. The bedroom has a double bed, hanging space and the room is overlooking the garden. En suite shower room.

The setting is completely rural but only 5 minutes to the market town of Civray for great restaurants, bars, 6 estate agents and the River Charente.

Golf courses at Poitiers and Angouleme, motor racing circuit at Ile Jourdain, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and horse riding all nearby. Many flea markets/ antique fairs in the summer. Bicycles, table tennis, boules available.
