Comfortable B&B accommodation in our renovated mill house where each of our 4 double bedrooms has its own en suite shower, toilet and washbasin and one of the rooms can comfortably accommodate 4 people. We provide breakfast and a picnic lunch and all linen.

Our guests also have use of a lounge with English television and a kitchen with fridges, cooker, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Families welcome.

Our large mill house has extensive tranquil river frontage on the edge of open countryside and woods but just 2 minutes walk to the town centre. Our gardens are extensive with mature trees, open spaces for badminton, cricket, football and boules. We have a 10 x 5.5 x 1.2m solar heated swimming pool with terrace and barbecue for the use of guests. Price includes use of bikes, swimming pool, fishing rods, river boats, sailing dinghies and windsurfers (for those with experience).

Mareuil-Sur-Lay is a picturesque wine producing town with bars, restaurants, supermarket, shops, Post Office and banks. (A 3 course evening meal in a local restaurant is approximately 10 Euros). Ideal countryside for walking and bird-watching. Horse riding, golf and tennis available locally. Visit the local vineyards. The golden Atlantic beaches or the Venise Vert are only 20 minutes drive.
