Chez Albion is situated halfway between Angoulême and Périgueux and just 20 minutes from Riberac, and from Brantôme, the Venice of the Périgord, which each have a good choice of restaurants and Friday market. For those who wish to fly Bergerac and Bordeaux airports are within about an hour's journey.

The family room has 2 three-foot bunk beds.

One double bedroom has an en suite bathroom.

The other double and one twin have en suite shower rooms.

The other twin and the family room share the remaining shower room which is adjacent to each.

There is a good size dining table in the main living room, as well as patio tables and chairs outside

Other appliances include toaster, kettle and coffee-maker.

Bed linen and tea towels are supplied, towels can be hired.

The use of the pool 12 x 6m with a slide.

There is horse riding and hire of bicycles available in nearby Verteillac (4 miles).

Fishing and canoeing available on the Dronne river about 20 minutes away (Brantôme, Riberac).

Castles and ancient sites all around - eg castles at Mareuil and Bourdeilles, the ancient monolithic church at Aubeterre.

One of the best markets in the region is the Friday market at Riberac.

Best of all is the wonderful countryside all around you!

Rentals are from Saturday 4.00pm to Saturday 10.00am. Security deposit £250. No smoking in the house itself.
