| Entertainment on-site: | Swimming pool, boules court, table tennis, football nets, football table, family soirées. Guided tours round the farm twice every day to learn some animal husbandry. You can collect the eggs, feed the chickens and milk a goat. You can help round up the sheep, then watch them be sheared. You can watch in real life haymaking, the combine harvester, ploughing, fencing etc etc....who needs a tv? Bike hire and route plans for short and long excursions for all the family. Tested walking routes too. |

'Abbaye de Bon Repos'
"Is by the river.
You can visit the partly restored buildings and learn of the history. On Sunday morning there is a craft market. There are some great hills just behind great for walking in, with ancient burial chambers and a magnificent view accross the Lac de Guerledan. "
'Carhaix'
"A town famous for the "Veille Charrues" Annual Music festival at the end of July. Its just far enough from us to not hear the music or see the crowds. But not to far to come back to sleep and eat before returning and enjoying the next days music. (The Sports shop Decathlon is also in this town...) "
'Guemene Sur Scorff'
"A small town, with a medieval likeness to Dinan. But without the bustle. Follow the guide book and you can see the big wide windowsills on the old buildings. There is a church with its tower built behind it on the hillside. There is an old village wash house. At the end of August there is the Festival of the Andouille Sausage, with Breton Dancers in the streets. "
'Locuon Roman Quarry, Chapel and Road'
"Visit her by foot - less than 2kms. A chapel and fountain built by the Romans in a quarry. The stone from the quarry was exported to towns served by the Vannes-Carhaix Roman Road. Its on the border of Côtes d'Armor and Morbihan. Lots of history to discover. "
'Pontivy'
"A town with a Chateau and the River Blavet also known a "Napoleanville". Visit the Old town and its shops."
