Both cottages have their own private swimming pool, the Lodge pool is approx 29 x 15ft. On-site fishing lake with carp up to 20lb. Bikes, table tennis, badminton, pitch and putt, childrens play area, boules, tennis court and plenty of space for football, cricket, rounders and space to hit a golf ball or 2. ALL COMPLIMENTRY There is a 9-hole golf course 5km from Hunters Retreat. .

Hunters Retreat is in a small hamlet, Le Claray approx 4km from the picturesque village of St-Aubin-de-Châteaux which has all the amenities you would want, minimarket, bar, chemist, Post Office, bakers, butchers and brocante to browse in. There is also an equestrian centre nearby for the more adventurous. Just 5 mins from Le Claray is a superb lake, the Hunaudiere, with a great crêperie and bar so you can sit by the lake with a crêpe and a beer and just relax. The historic town of Châteaubriant is just 12km, Nantes, Redon approx 45 mins and the coast (La Baule) is approx 1 hour.

Kitchen/diner leading onto own patio with barbecue and garden furniture, overlooking beautiful gardens. Cooker, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, English television, dvd player and we have a good selection of new dvds and cds, music system. Bed linen included.
