'Local Area and Activities'
"We overlook a pretty market town with all amenities such as river fishing, tennis courts, theatre and cinema.
Not to be missed is the International Horse Jumping Show every year in the summer. Also a yearly music festival and regular classical concerts. Medieval banquets and dinner dances. Nearby are keep fit health clubs, cinema, theatre, riding stables and canoeing on the 2 rivers. We are within easy reach of St Emilion for its prestigeous wines and Cognac for its fine brandy. There are river trips on the River Charente which are very popular. The Atlantic coast with its wonderful sandy beaches are only an hour away."
