Beautiful farmhouse offering spacious rooms on a B&B basis and attached is a self-contained gite for those preferring self catering facilities.

 

The gite has a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, combi-microwave/grill, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, crockery and cooking utensils, iron and board, clothes horse.

 

Dining/entrance hall, separate lounge with beams and wooden floors, offering tv, dvd, video, cd/radio/tape player and fire, books, dvds, videos and games. Two bedrooms and a bathroom with full size bath, shower over, wash basin and wc.

 

The property sits in 3 acres of peaceful garden with bbq, plunge pool, swings, badminton, petanque, volleyball, football, cycles etc. The perfect place to relax or enjoy country pursuits, be it walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding or golf. Five minutes drive from Secondigny with good size supermarket, shops, bars and petrol station. Beautiful lake with pedalos and a swimming pool. A good base to visit La Rochelle, Futuroscope, Le Puy du Fou and many more.

Location and activities: La Sauvagere is a beautiful traditional French farmhouse, set in rolling countryside. The property sits in 3 acres of land with peaceful parkland gardens. Hidden away in the tranquillity of rural France yet close enough to towns, theme parks and seaside resorts should you want to explore.
Bedrooms: The gite has 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin. While the main house has 2 en suite rooms with king sized beds and 1 twin room with wash basin and separate toilet.
Bathrooms: The gite has 1 bathroom with full sized bath, shower over, wc and wash basin. Bathroom towels supplied. There are 2 en suite bathrooms in the main house and a separate toilet.
Kitchen: The gite has a modern fully-fitted kitchen with gas cooker, microwave/combination/grill, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, iron and board, toaster, kettle. Washing and dishwasher capsules supplied.
Dining: The gite has its own separate dining hall. Our B&B guests have the use of our large dining room with patio doors into the garden.
Living area: The gite living area with tv, dvd, video, cd, radio, tape deck and fire. The main house offers a large comforable lounge with satellite tv, dvd and video.
Entertainment on-site : Plenty of videos, dvds, books and games to borrow. We also offer home cooked evening meals with wine and are happy to cater for most dietary requirements. In the summer we can offer our B&B guests bbq packs so they can cook their own and then we do the washing-up.
Outside : Patio area and huge garden. Plunge pool, sunloungers, swings, badminton, petanque, cycles and football.
General: La Sauvagere is the ideal place to get away from the normal rat race. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and calm. Close by there are plenty of things to do such as walking, cycling, shopping, fishing, golf, swimming, eating and drinking. Everything you would expect from a French holiday.
Suitability: We have many satified visitors from couples or families with small and teenage children. House-hunters or overnight stops for those travelling further south.
