Hunter’s Croft : A former farm workers cottage, completely refurnished in 2008, to provide very comfortable accommodation for up to 5 people.

Hunters Retreat is set in 17 acres of private land, offering peace and tranquillity in a rural atmosphere. Both cottages have their own private swimming pool, fishing lake (with equipment), bikes, table tennis, badminton, children’s play area, boules, tennis court and plenty of space for football, cricket, rounders and a good selection of dvds etc. All complimentary.

Hunters Retreat is in a small hamlet called Le Claray, 4km from the picturesque village of St-Aubin-de-Châteaux, which has a mini market, bar, chemist, Post Office, bakers, butchers and brocante to browse in. There is also an equestrian centre nearby for the more adventurous.

The historic town of Châteaubriant is 12km. The major cities of Nantes (www.nantes.fr) and Rennes (www.rennes.fr) are approximately 45 minutes with the coast around 1 hour away.

Upstairs. A large bedroom with 3 single beds and en suite bathroom. Full length french window overlooking the garden/pool area. Exposed beams.

Downstairs. Open plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with wood burning stove. Lcd television, dvd player, fridge, cooker, microwave, washing machine. Double bedroom with en suite shower room.

Outside. An enclosed private garden, barbecue, table and chairs under a pergola overlooking your own private swimming pool with sunloungers.
