Tastefully restored gîte set in the peaceful Anjou countryside. Ideally situated for exploring the delights of this region, colourful local markets, its châteaux, vineyards and the historical city of Angers.

Accomodation is on the ground floor One double and 1 twin bedroom, lounge/dining room, well equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, washing machine, sofabed, tv/video/dvd, fridge-freezer.

Outside  Private garden and patio with table and chairs, bbq. Well off the road with plenty of parking.

          Cultural visits

For a dive into history, there is the historical château of Angers with its Apocalypse tapestries and within 35km more than 12 other châteaux open in summer.

          Local interest  

The 'Mine Bleu' opens its doors and takes you down into the heart of the slate mining era and on a small train you can discover how life was. Or visit 'La Petite Couere' - an interesting voyage in time with an amazing collection of livestock tools, machinery and cars.  'Le Petit Train' of Angers guides you around the town or one will take you into the vineyards south of the Loire. In the summer take a relaxing river cruise .... 

          Sporting activites

For the golfer, there are several excellent golf courses. For the walker or cyclist, hundreds of kilometres of tracks can be discovered. The local rivers offer opportunities for swimming, canoeing, windsurfing plus other watersports, and depending on the season, permits for still water and river fishing are available.
