Fully tiled, electric shower, vanity unit and heated towel rail, fresh towels provided.

With dressing table, vanity mirror, hair dryer etc, a charming room for our female guests to prepare for that special evening out.

Spacious triple bedroom with original traditional feature beams and local tuffeau stone. Consisting of a double and single bed (cot on request), electric heating. French doors leading out onto stunning breakfast/dining balcony or just relax with a glass of wine and take in the ambience.

OUTSIDE:

The cottage is set in a large private garden offering secure parking, a barbecue and ample garden furniture is provided for your relaxation and enjoyment. Bikes available on request.

"Enjoy trying out your French at your local markets (both antique and fresh produce). Bourgueil TUES. Chinon THURS. Saumur SAT. Montsoreau SUN. All are recommended. Flea markets held at Montsoreau 1st SUN in the month, and Chinon 2nd SUN in the month. Some good bargains to be had."

"Sample one of the many excellent restaurants in and around Saumur and Chinon, or one of the "Auberges" found locally, all offering extremely good value cuisine. More specific recommendations from previous guests are available in the "Tarauderie" visitors book."

"Try before you buy! Sample the delightful red and rosé wines at any one of the many "degustations" down the road at St-Nicolas and Bourgueil. Other regional wines include Muscadet, Anjou, Touraine, Chinon, Vouvray, Pouilly Fume, Sancerre, Saumur Champigny and Saumur "sparkling" brut."
