For the energetic there is every type of activity from sailing to karting. For the beach lovers there are beautiful beaches stretching all along the Vendee coast. These cater for everyones needs from surfing to just playing in the golden sands. The house is on the edge of a reserve naturelle which is a centre for bird-watching."

These are personal recommendations and include the key places of interest in the area.The best traditional restaurant is the Rose Tremiere in St Michel l'Herme in the next village. The speciality of the area is shellfish and there is a choice of excellent restaurants in L'Aguillon, La Faute and La Tranche. "
