Limousin features a dense network of small sunken lanes and country roads, just ideal for cyclists. There is a broad choice of cycling routes including some great VTT trails complete with mud pits. For a more relaxing experience, Creuse is an ideal area for bike riding. You can enjoy acres of forests and fields whilst La Sainte Pardoux lake has an excellent biking trail around it - bike hire is available too. And if you prefer to spectate rather than participate, the French Mountain Bike Cup and stages of the Tour de France are held here most years.
