Auvergne Walking Holidays

Auvergne is the perfect place to enjoy a walking holiday through some of the finest scenery France has to offer. The mountain ranges with their extinct volcanoes have miles of marked footpaths criss-crossing them. The views are incredible and everywhere you go you can enjoy many different wild flowers, birds and animals.

There are many guided walks to join. The 9 marked GR routes have 3 grades, those suitable for novices (pale green), those with considerable ascents and descents (dark green) and red which are strenuous, sometimes exposed routes which require map reading and navigational skills. Visit the Auvergne and walk with your feet on the volcano and your head in the clouds!
