Limousin Fishing Holidays

Limousin is well known for its stunning lakes. Lake Vassiviere is one of the largest lakes in Europe and at 35 metres deep at points, fishing for carp, pike and zander can be enjoyed best from a boat. The lake at St Sulpice has carp and pike fishing on good reed beds where bathing and watersports are not allowed. One of our Holiday France Direct properties is within a few hundred metres of Lake Neuvic, where carp, pike, perch and zander can be caught. Other properties are near the lake at Bussiere Galant, a category 1 water with trout, carp and perch. The River Vienne is another good fishing location. The necessary fishing permits are available from tabacs, fishing tackle shops and Post Offices locally.
