'Be Active'
"If you want to be active there are many activities in the local area. Hire catamarans on Deauville beach, or bring your own surfing kites. Hire land yachts or go to Les Cimes, a walkway through the tree canopies in a huge local woodland. There are cycle hire shops so you can use the many tracks in the area – along the sandy beaches, alongside the Seine or in the many woodlands. There are horse riding centres, golf courses (that are easy to get on) and horse racecourses. "

'Restaurants'
"Honfleur has over 100 restaurants, cafes and bistros. You can sit and watch the world go by from one of the many harbour-side cafes and bars or explore the old streets to find oak beamed eateries full of locals. Seafood is a speciality but beef, duck, pasta and gallettes are all easily available. There is food for all tastes, from pizzas through to Michelin star."

'Save Money'
"Generally, living is cheaper in France. Obviously, the wines are a bargain and there are so many Caves offering good advice. Less well known perhaps are all the designer shops in Deauville, where the Parisians go to spend their money. But it doesn’t need to be top drawer designer shops for clothes, there are good value for money shops all over Honfleur and the surrounding region. Even the supermarkets have many different foods, wines, clothes – there is no limit if you use your imagination. "
