The 4 Gites each with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms have washing machine, towels, linen, barbecue, log-burner, electric radiators, digital tv/radio/video. Groups maximum 24. All ages welcome. Pets possible. Winter lets. WiFi

Private pitch and putt golf course, fenced saline swimming pool with roman steps, games barn - billiards, ping-pong, boules, space for ball games (our dogs Pickles and Pepper may want to join in!), bicycles.

Peaceful pace of life in our private 7 acre grounds, lawns, stream, pond, woodland walk.

Surrounding area offers golf, riding, karting, rivers, canoeing, lakes, water parks, prehistoric caves, museums, medieval chβteaux, local markets, gourmet goodies, vineyards, wine-tasting!

Babysitting, VHS library, library, arrival provisions if requested.

Changeover day Saturday or Sunday during July and August, otherwise flexible

Nearest restaurant: The nearest good restaurants are less than 10 minutes away in Eymet
Location and activities: Set in lovely rolling unspoilt countryside with rivers, woods, vineyards and mixed farming. Garrigue is well placed for visiting medieval towns such as Bergerac, Issigeac and Monpazier. Castles such as Castelnaud with its war machines and Duras with its dungeons, and glorious gardens such as the magical Marqueyssac, the prehistoric caves and troglodyte dwellings in the Vιzθre "cradle of mankind" valley. Then there are weekly foodie markets and fun evening markets, jumble sales and brocantes and medieval festivals. Sporting activities nearby include canoeing, swimming, fishing, golfing, biking, hiking, jogging, even tree-top adventure parks
Bedrooms: There are 4 gites each with 3 bedrooms (an extra bed and cot may be available on request)
Bathrooms: Each gite has 2 bathrooms (one with bath/shower, basin, wc; the other with shower, basin, wc)
Kitchen: Equipment includes electric cooker, fridge and washing machine, microwave on request
Dining: Each gite has an open plan dining area
Living area: The indoor living area of each gite has settees and chairs, British and French television with video and radio, log-burner, WiFi
Entertainment on-site: Fenced saline swimming pool, 9-hole private pitch and putt golf course, games barn with ping-pong and billiards and various kit includes boules, badminton, croquet, bicycles, hot tub in Mid & Low seasons.
Outside: Each gite has its outdoor area with table, chairs, parasol and large barbecue
General: Garrigue is very peaceful with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. We enjoy a wonderful variety of wildlife including red squirrels, deer, hoopoes, nightingales, and rarer birds such as harriers, golden orioles and kestrels
Suitability: Garrigue is suitable for all ages from babies to sages, for groups up to 24, as well as for a couple looking for a tranquil place to enjoy birdsong, a book and a bottle of wine !
