Le Rhun’s farmhouse and former farm outbuildings have been thoughtfully converted to provide 5 individual and stylish holiday retreats: the Farmhouse (sleeps up to 14), Ecurie (sleeps 4), Etable (sleeps 8), Hibou (sleeps 5) and the Chestnut Loft apartment (sleeps 5). Set in Le Rhun’s beautiful rolling farmland, the holiday homes retain many of their original features – a delightful combination of stone, slate and exposed beams, giving the properties tremendous charm and character. Each property has a private terrace or garden with barbecue. Unpack and relax in the comfort of your home from home - washing/drying machine, dvd, hi-fi, hairdryer, microwave, food processor and picnic basket complete with bucket and spade! Outside you'll find plenty to do. If you're feeling active, head for our heated outdoor pool, ball games field, swings or sandpit. If it's peace and quiet you seek, head off down our farm tracks and woodland walks where you'll find plenty of shady spots to settle down with your picnic basket, a good book and a glass of wine. Don't forget your camera - the wildlife is abundant.
Argol's picturesque village square is half a kilometre along the lane with its boulangerie, La Poste, bars and creperies across from the ancient church. The cider museum and Maison des Vieux Métiers hold regular exhibitions and living displays of country crafts.
Ideally situated for exploring this spectacular unspoilt corner of Brittany, Le Rhun is set in the heart of the Crozon Peninsula which abounds with magnificent views, wide sandy beaches, rugged coves and sites of historical and cultural interest. The nearest beach at Telgruc-sur-Mer is only 3km away and offers an introduction to the immense variety of beaches in easy reach of Le Rhun. From the golden sands of Pentrez to the wild surfing beaches of Lostmarc’h, there is a beach to suit everyones taste. Even at the height of summer, you can easily find a quiet spot to sit and contemplate the waves. Whether you want to put your feet up and relax or try your hand at something new, there is plenty on offer with sailing, surfing, sand-yachting, cycling, horse riding, golf and scenic walks through national park lands and pre-historic sites. Local restaurants and market stalls offer a wide variety of regional produce including delicious crepes, seafood, cheeses and cider, while the biscuiteries are a sheer delight for the younger gastronome!
