"Kervéguen has been a delightful place to stay. Thanks for all your help and advice, Max and Emma. We have enjoyed feeding the animals. It's been a great base for exploring the wonderful Brittany region" R & R Jones, New Zealand (30 July - 13 August 2011)

"We have had a lovely holiday and will definitely be coming again. Max and Emma made us very welcome and we could not have had better hosts. We loved staying at this gite because it’s lovely and peaceful. Roll on next year!" The Pemberton family, Norfolk (25 -30 July 2010)

"Wow! Wow! Wow! have had the most fantastic time staying in this lovely gite, which is located in a beautiful part of France. The weather has been hot and sunny every day, so it has been great for exploring the magical Huelgoat forest, walking the north Brittany coastal path and relaxing outside in the amazing grounds of the gite. Max, Emma and family have been wonderful hosts - so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The gite is so clean, fresh, tidy and well-equipped - it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back later this year, but for longer than one week! Thank you so much Max, Emma and family for a fabulous, relaxing week!!" Mr and Mrs M., Monmouthshire (14 - 21 March 2009)

Kervéguen gite is set within our organic smallholding in a peaceful, rural location. On our farm you’ll be able to meet hens, geese, ducks, guinea fowl, pigs and goats. We are also turning a 3 acre meadow into an organic kitchen garden so there will be lots of seasonal produce to sample. Fresh eggs and organic wine will be awaiting you upon arrival. You can visit our cake and craft stall at the local markets and we also make our own bread and sausages for you to try!

"Thank you very much for a lovely week – it went by too quickly. The gite was great and we all had a fantastic time. J. had a great time feeding the animals. It was so nice meeting the whole family." The Brooks family (28 August – 4 September 2010)

"Thank you Max, Emma {and family} we have had a wonderful week with lots of fun" (J and J age 8 and 6) "Thank you for making us feel very welcome and letting the children partake with you feeding the animals etc. Lovely, comfortable gite" Mr & Mrs C and family, Devon (1 - 8 August 2009)

Despite being located in a rural idyll, Kervéguen gite is just a few minutes’ drive away from the beautiful, lake-side town of Huelgoat where you’ll find all the essential amenities and the ideal stepping off point for walking and cycling in the national park. As any guide book will confirm, Huelgoat’s enchanting forests are the jewel of central Brittany.

The gite's central position also affords good access to all of Brittany’s spectacular coastline. Brittany is a big place: if you stay on one coast and it's a LONG way to another..!

"We've had a fantastic week here and wish it could have been longer. Max, Emma and family have been great hosts, very friendly and helpful. The gite is delightful and perfectly positioned to explore the surrounding area, though it's perfect for spending a quiet day in if you just need to recharge your batteries. We'd definitely like to come back again. Thank you Max, Emma and family." Mr and Mrs P, Oxfordshire (22 - 29 May 2009)

If the weather isn’t perfect, we offer opportunities to learn a new skill in our artist’s atelier. If you have an allotment or just enjoy gardening we think you’ll find our garden very interesting. Everyone will enjoy the special view over rolling Breton countryside! You are welcome to explore the garden and we have plenty of picnic tables available. There is also an enclosed garden area for your private use which is ideal for small children.

"We have had a wonderful week, lovely accommodation. Max and Emma have made us very welcome. We could not fault anything. The weather was beautiful. We could not ask for more. Many thanks." Mr & Mrs S, Kent (20 - 27 June 2009)

"Perfect hosts in a perfect setting and great value for money. The gite is lovely and we have had great week relaxing more than anything. Would highly recommend Kerveguen to anyone..." Mr D and Ms G, West Yorkshire (11 - 18 July 2009)

Within the gite all rooms are bright, airy and nicely decorated. Upstairs there are two bedrooms (one double and one twin) with good quality beds and furniture. There is also a large walk-in wardrobe and storage area. Downstairs you’ll find a recently refurbished bathroom, separate toilet and a large kitchen/living room complete with dishwasher, washing machine and tv/dvd. The tv receives 'freeview' UK channels. The gite is centrally-heated.

"We have loved it here and have had a really relaxing week. Lovely to meet you both and we wish you well with all your projects. We certainly hope to make a return visit and catch up on that glass of wine!"Mr and Mrs M, Cheshire (15 - 22 August 2009)

We are very proud of our gite and of our local area. We hope the guest book comments show that you will be very happy here and we look forward to welcoming you soon.
