'Eat In'
"We can prepare a delicious platter of cold meats, salad from the garden, (veg option, homemade quiche), bread, butter and wine, for only £7 per person, if you prefer to relax, enjoy the garden and go nowhere."

'Restaurants'
"We are well served for restaurants. Béganne's own award winning créperie, The nearby pretty port of Foleux for steak or mussels . Dine whilst overlooking the marina. Redon has everything from McDonalds to Chinese. La Roche-Bernard, seafood, pizzas, crêpes, bistros and the very popular floating boat restaurant serving seafood, steak, etc. "

Local Area and Activities

'Café/Bar'
"Loic's bar in Beganne is child pet and very people friendly; Buy your croissant over the road in the boulangerie, take it to the bar, order your coffee and Loic might even bring you a plate! Enjoy the outside patio with tubs of flowers. Only 2 mins walk from your holiday villa."

'Chateau'
"Beganne has its own chateau - Lehellec, open for tours during the summer."

There are many easy walking tracks into woodlands and behind hamlets from the front door, yet the cottage is just on the edge of the village for food and wine!"

'Wildlife Park'
"Branfere Park is only 5 miles away, set in several acres of beautiful parkland, with its own chateau, restaurant and café. See giraffe, wolves, monkeys, watch the wallabies or they will steal your sandwiches! Childrens zoo area, plenty for all the family"

'You choose'
"There are too many options locally. Please e mail or phone, if there is a sport leisure or event, you would like to know about."

"Every Thursday morning throughout the year. This bustling medieval town with its pretty old port, cafes, bars and restaurants, hosts a traditional Breton market with fresh fruit and veg cheeses, fish and shellfish, plants, breads, spices and lots more. Its a 20 minute drive from our cottage and well worth a visit. Redon offers exactly the same, but on Mondays"
