Markets and Shopping
'Hennebont'
"Visit the medieval market town of Hennebont (only 10 mins drive away) with its typically French bustling weekly market (every Thursday morning). Perhaps stop for lunch in one of the many bars/restaurants available there or take a meandering riverside walk along the Blavet River.
Also worth a visit is Le Haras National D'Hennebont (French National Stud). With displays and historic information. "
'Rennes'
"You really should visit the capital town of Brittany with its beautiful architecture, large selection of shops, bars and restaurants. It has a very high student population which provides the town with a vibrant nightlife but Rennes is particularly nice in early July, during the "Festival des Tombées de la Nuit". Its streets are then full of people enjoying the free street entertainment and eating or drinking at the terraces of the restaurants and cafés.
