Maison Lavande is a tastefully renovated 4 bedroom 17th Century Breton stone cottage situated in the small hamlet of Hellean, close to all amenities within walking distance of the boulangerie and two bars.
Sleeps up to 8. Suitable for two families to share.
1½ hours from St Malo, 40 mins north of Vannes and within an hour of several sandy beaches.
Close to the cottage are many forest tracks suitable for walking, cycling and if you’re a little more daring, VTT tracks (mountain bike trails).
The Cottage is 4 miles from the popular medieval town of Josselin with its beautiful Château alongside the Nantes-Brest Canal. Josselin has a bustling weekly Saturday market and many pavement cafes and restaurants.
Three miles in the other direction at Taupont, is the well known Lac au Duc, a wonderful 80 acre lake with beach, watersports, childrens splash pool with slides, restaurant, golf course and driving range. Horse riding nearby.
A 2 minute drive up the road from here, you will find a large supermarket, fuel station, cinema and 10 pin bowling alley which also has a bar and a very good restaurant.
The accommodation consists of a beamed open plan ground floor with exposed stonework, flagstone floor, cast iron radiators and inglenook fireplace. Quality fitted kitchen including fridge-freezer, large range oven and hob, with microwave, washer/dryer and dining area. French doors to front and rear.
Upstairs, there are 4 bedrooms, 2 double, 2 twin and a shower room with vanity sink unit and wc, all with electric heaters.
To the rear is a garden with decked patio area with awning overlooking open countryside.
To the front is a gravelled area with patio table and chairs, south facing to enjoy an evening glass of wine or 2! Parking for 2 vehicles.
The cottage has English satellite tv, dvd player and selection of dvds.
Fresh bread can be delivered daily to your door by the English owners who live nearby in the village.
House Hunters. Owners are available to introduce you to local Estate Agents and offer help and advice on the local area.

All linen provided except towels.
