A stunning 16th century Breton cottage, with its own private south facing garden in a peaceful hamlet in the unique Blavet Valley countryside. Wisteria Cottage sleeps 10 in 4 bedrooms.
A tranquil haven in easy reach of the many sandy beaches (35-45 min), places of interest, activities and medieval towns of Southern Brittany. There are 4 acres of attractive communal gardens with two 6 metre heated pools, a pine forest and incredible views of the forested valley with walking routes directly into the countryside.
The cottage has a charming and romantic oak-beamed lounge with large granite fireplace and is spacious, comfortable and well furnished (incl large screen tv/dvd) with well equipped kitchen. The expansive grounds include a childrens climbing frame with badminton and mini-football net in the summer months! The pools enjoy full sun morning to late evening, are open from 1st April to 30th September and are securely fenced and locked for peace of mind. The perfect place for an idyllic holiday and to enjoy a true taste of Breton culture!

| Bathrooms: | Wisteria Cottage has a large family bathroom with bath and toilet, a separate toilet, 2 shower rooms with shower (one en suite). There are safety gates at the top and bottom of stairs. |
| Entertainment on-site: | Large screen tv (British free to view channels) and dvd. We have a selection of dvds, games and childrens toys for both indoor and out. In summer there is a mini-football net, badminton net set in the main garden and the pools are heated from the beginning of April to the end of Sept. |
| Garden and outside: | Within the 4 acres of the main gardens are two 6 metre swimming pools with decked area and securely fenced to be shared by both cottages together with a childrens play area and mini-foot net and badminton in the summer months. The large private gardens have barbecues, tables and chairs with parasols. There is also the pine forest with views over the forested valley in which the children often practise their construction skills. |

| Suitability: | This is suitable for family holidays or romantic getaways, whether with young or older children (or none). It is also suitable for the elderly mobile. Sorry, no smoking in the cottage is allowed. Not suitable for pets. The property is also ideally situated and popular with golfing parties, because it is ideally situated to reach many of Southern Brittanys golf courses. Again with easy access to the Blavet and Scorff Rivers and its many tributaries it is ideal for fishermen. It is also ideally situated for walkers, nature lovers and beach lovers. |

The stunning 16th century properties give a real taste of a bygone age with all modern conveniences. Le Crann offered everything. A warm temperate climate with sunshine hours comparable to Southern France. Brittany has its own distinct culture and language with extremely welcoming people. Close to the many sandy beaches and the glorious countryside of the Blavet Valley. Activities for young and old including golf, cycling, canoeing, sailing and walking. Delightful places of historical interest with many cultural events year long. Proximity to UK and Europe with many access points by car, ferry or plane. Private south facing gardens and extensive communal gardens with heated pools. Unique benefits of the property: With the large extensive gardens of 4 acres stretching into the beautiful countryside and situated at the end of a quiet country lane with no through traffic, our guests have commented on how safe and peaceful the gardens and surrounding environs are for children of all ages - the perfect place to relax and unwind. Most holidaymakers only have 1 or 2 weeks in which to enjoy their holiday and a lot of time can sometime be spent trying to familiarise yourself with your environment. We have a small cottage in the main gardens and are on hand, if you so wish, to ensure you maximise your holiday and don't miss out on any holiday experience. For those nature-lovers, walkers and cyclists there are walking paths leading directly from the property to many points of interest in the region. |
| Heating: | In the hot summer months the thick stone walls give a delightfully cool refuge if the heat is ever too much. In winter or those slightly chilly spring or autumn evenings the wood burning stoves are used to heat the cottage (free wood included). There are also electric radiators. |

Welcome pack: tea, coffee, milk & sugar, plus a bottle of French wine and Breton cake to recover from your journey
Essentials to get you started: salt & pepper, toilet paper, kitchen towel and dustbin bags to get you underway until you have had a chance to stock up.
Cleaning basics: washing up liquid, dishclothes, scourers, dishwasher tablets, hand soap, tea towels, firelighters, matches, recycling binbags, sanitary disposal bags and cleaning products for the cottages.
Bedding and bed linen are included. Towels can be provided for an additional charge. Please bring your own baby cot linen as this is not provided.
Babies & toddlers: cots, highchairs, babybath,potties, microwave sterilizer & handheld blender on request. Stairgates already attached.
Bicycles: 7 adults bikes, 3 child bikes, 1 bike baby seat & 1 bike carrier, on request.
Golf clubs & trolleys: 2 sets of golf clubs and trolleys, on request
We provide the following services at very reasonable rates:
Towels: these can be provided for an additional charge of €8 per bale per week - a bale comprises of a bath towel, hand towel and a towel for the beach or pool - payable locally on arrival. Please can you reserve these in advance of your arrival.
Final cleaning service: If you consider that you do not have the time or do not wish to clean the cottage before you depart, we now offer a final cleaning service for €50 per cottage, payable locally on arrival. Please can you reserve this in advance of your arrival
Catering: A wide selection of quality meals prepared by a local chef direct to your cottage available on request. Please enquire for further information.
