Large Breton farmhouse furnished to a high standard. Set within tranquil surrounding on the edge of a very pretty traditional Breton village. Home to unusual wildlife including the elusive Pine Marten and a family of otters. With our own private lake set immediately behind the farmhouse you could try pleasure fishing to catch one of the many fish, or relax in the warmth and comfort of our home beside the wood burning fireplace? or outside in the sun accompanied by a glass of chilled Chardonnay? Or maybe walk around the lake and take in the delights of the French gardens. With a peaceful, private and tranquil stay guaranteed, our farmhouse set in its quiet rural location, has a complete stress free environment where one can embrace the beauty of the local landscape and delightful country lanes with magnificent views.
Unique benefits of the property.
Total peace and tranquillity of the location and surrounding area. The farmhouse with its own private lake also has the added delight and unusual benefit for our clients to experience otters in the wild. Obviously not guaranteed, but having lived alongside these wild animals for over 6 years, it is very likely. Not a fan of otters? why not cycle along the quiet country lanes whilst taking in the picturesque surroundings.
The farmhouse too has easy access to the coast and towns, illustrating the diverse cultures that Brittany has to offer. Being the home to a variety of festivals and local traditions, one can experience the history and landscape of Brittany, with the medieval churches, one can adopt an insight into the roots of the Celtic culture, and within the dynamism of the local community one can become accustomed to the welcoming and friendly nature of the Breton people.
