The Old Farmhouse with Private Pool (BN001409) - 5 Bedroom - Farmhouse - Dinan

You are invited to holiday in our Farmhouse/Gite in the pretty village of Plumaudan, 10 minutes south of the beautiful medieval town of Dinan - recognised as the best preserved medieval town in Brittany (and the most visited). The Farmhouse has 5 bedrooms and sleeps up to 10 people, it is also available for smaller parties of up to 4 people (2 bedrooms). There are oak beams in each room and the property dates from the mid 18th century.

We are situated on the fringe of the village, only 250 metres from all its facilities, with an enclosed fenced garden area, swings, courtyard, swimming pool and decking area with barbecue. There is ample parking, with views to the village with the 250 year old oak tree and the village church dominating the skyline. The south-facing courtyard is ideal for a games of boules.

The Farmhouse. There are 5 bedrooms (1 double + single, 2 doubles, a bunk bed room and one single). The large kitchen/diner has all usual white goods, a woodburner and a large farmhouse dining table seating up to 10. There are 3 bathrooms (2 with toilet + 1 separate toilet). The spacious lounge opens onto the courtyard and there is UK Freeview satellite tv, dvd. The property provides flexible accommodation for 2 families, in that there is a door dividing the first floor. Please note the second floor stairs to bedroom 5 is open tread.

There are stairgates for both staircases.There is electric heating to supplement the woodburners. The entrance hallway contains the original oak staircase.

There are numerous golf courses within 45 minutes (see our website), horse riding in a neighbouring village and sailing, windsurfing etc at nearby Lake Betineuc. Dinan has plenty of good restaurants, especially down at the port where you can also hire boats by the hour and take trips up or down river on chartered boats, or self-hire canopied pleasure boats.

Please note: linen is provided, but please bring your own towels. There is a travelcot available although you should bring your own bedding for this. There is also a highchair and a folding buggy.
