Recommendations

Festive Winter Escape

We have had a fantastic Christmas and New Year in the house. The wood burning stove was lovely and cosy. There was some beautiful mornings with mist on the river. We've seen so many different birds in the garden. We visited Quimper with a fantastic fish market, Benodet beach, Oceanopolis in Brest and drove around Carhaix which looks a lovely town.

Angela, Stuart and family

Garden

We've had a wonderful 2 weeks, very relaxing. We enjoyed lots of the places recommended but also enjoyed sitting in the garden enjoying the sun and watching the birds. The house had everything we needed and more.

Andie & Mary Green.

House

The terrace was good at the end of a long days travelling to quietly slip into the French way of life.

The lovely house provided a fantastic base to start to explore a very nice area and coastline to which we hope to return.

Owners Recommendations

'Antique Furniture'
"There are some fantastic Depots for second hand and antique furniture, our favourites are TROC where we have bought some lovely items."

'Cycling and Walking'
"There are a number of off-road cycling paths from the house which are designated circuits. We recently went on a 3 hour ride with the children to Poullaoen, stopping on the benches along the way for a rest and having our picnic in the old French village by the church. We passed a number of people during the day, all ages !"
