A former farm workers cottage, La maison de la ferme offers peace and tranquillity in a rural setting. Completely refurbished to provide very comfortable accommodation for up to 5 people.
Downstairs. Open plan lounge/kitchen, dining room with wood burning stove. Tv/dvd, fridge, cooker, microwave, washing machine. Double bedroom with en suite shower room.
Upstairs. A large bedroom with 3 single beds and en suite bathroom. Full length french window overlooking the garden and pool area. Exposed beams.
Outside. An enclosed private garden, large barbecue, table and chairs under a pergola overlooking its own private swimming pool with sunloungers. Full size table tennis table.
The cottage is situated in a tiny hamlet called Le Claray, 4km from the picturesque village of St-Aubin-de-Châteaux which has a mini market, bar, chemist, Post Office, bakers, butchers and brocante to browse in.
This historic town of Châteaubriant is 12km. Vibrant Nantes and historic Rennes are approximately 45 mins with the coast around 1 hour away.
