Situated in a beautiful rural area excellent for families.
Our own horse riding and carriage rides are based on 20 Euros/ 1 h+.
The magnificent historic Abbaye de Melleraye is visible from the property. 50 mins from the vibrant city of Nantes, 1˝ hours from Atlantique coast, 2hrs from Puy de Fou, 1hr from 2 excellent zoos. Local shops, amenities, great inexpensive restaurants all within 5-10 mins. Two other large lakes are within 10 minutes drive, 1 with a beach, lifeguard and snack bar facilities.
The private pool (with slide) and the sunloungers has a fabulous view of the horses meadow and of the Abbaye de Melleraye. The newly renovated cottage to a high standard comprises:-
First floor. Two spacious double bedrooms both with double beds 1 with cot, 1 with single bed. Linen included. Bathroom with shower, wc, sink.
Ground floor. Fully-fitted kitchen, washing machine. Dining area. Bathroom with corner bath, wc, sink. Cosy lounge with woodburner (we have a solar panel which makes the gite suitable for winter rental), satellite tv, dvd, cd, double doors onto patio.
Outside. Barbecue area, garden furniture and sunloungers. Private parking.

| Location and activities: | We are in a lovely rural area, which is fantastic for our on site horseriding and carriage rides. We are very close to 2 very large lakes one with a beach and lifeguard facility with snack bar and creperie. There are lots of marked walks and bike rides. Small shops are 6kms away. Large supermarkets are 15 and 18 km away. |

| Dining: | The dining area is open plan with the kitchen, there is a large farmhouse table with 6 chairs and a highchair is available on request. |

| Entertainment on-site : | Swimming pool with slide with full terrace surround and sunloungers. We have our own horses and ponies for riding on a basis of 20 euros/hr, longer balades: picnics are available at a negotiable price. Bikes are availabe at no extra cost for the many bike rides. Grassed games area. |

| General: | There is a lot to do at the property but we are also within easy reach of a lot of attractions, for eg; the theme park Puy de Fou. There are 2 local markets per week, two zoos nearby and 1˝ hrs drive to the fantastic beach resort of La Baule and the Atlantic coast. |
| Suitability: | For families who like the outdoors or who just like to relax. For horse riders for fantastic horse rides and bike riders there are great wooded tracks and countyside to enjoy. There are many attractions to explore and the vibrant city of Nantes with its many attractions is less than 1hr from the property. |
