Our renovated farmhouse is set in 9 acres of beautiful forested countryside, some 20 minutes drive from Saumur and is an ideal base for visiting many châteaux.

 

Ground floor. Fully equipped kitchen (hob, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher). The beamed dining room and lounge are separated by an archway. Cave. Bathroom. Gamesroom.

 

First floor. Three bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin). Petit salon. Luxury bathroom with shower.

 

Heating, electricity and bed linen only included. Highchair. Two large raised terraces with garden furniture. Keyholders are local (English). Ideal for walking, cycling, fishing and horse riding.

Entertainment on-site: Wildlife in abundance. Cycling, walking, good for winding down.
Outside: Two large terraces with garden furniture. There is a very large driveway with rear lawn. This has ornamental fir trees (hence the name of the house) providing shade, 3 barns and 5 fields.
General: A perfect place to combine rest with visiting châteaux etc, plus the benefits of beautiful Saumur.
Suitability: Excellent for families but there are no disabled facilities.
