Les Deux Chenes is in 2 acres in the Loire Valley on the Maine et Loire / Poitou-Charentes border, 18 miles south west of Saumur, Western Loire.

We are in a tiny hamlet surrounded by Anjou vineyards, farmland and open countryside. 

Our small drive off a quiet country lane provides safe, spacious and secure parking. 

Although in the middle of a rural setting, we are only 7, 8 and 10 miles from 3 towns with weekly markets and supermarkets.

Our 3 BEDROOMED PRIVATE HOLIDAY FARMHOUSE gite is available for EXCLUSIVE USE of our facilities in JUNE,JULY AND AUGUST and 1st-14th SEPT.  HEATED POOL; TENNIS COURT; OUTSIDE GAMES AREAS; GAMESROOM with TABLE-TENNIS.

ALL BEDROOMS (2 upstairs, 1 downstairs) with EN-SUITE SHOWERS, wash-basin and wc.

choice of  twin beds or SUPERKING DOUBLE.

2 UPSTAIRS BEDROOMS with AIR-CONDITIONING and small MINI-FRIDGES.

Floor standing fans supplied in all bedrooms.

TWO LOUNGES - one with large dining table.

Both with satellite tv and dvd player.

Broadband connection. Wifi can usually be picked up outside.

KITCHEN / DINER - dishwasher; gas hob and oven; microwave; very large upright fridge-freezer; good quality crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

Washing machine and BATH in separate room off Kitchen.

Our 1 BEDROOMED restored COTTAGE with shared or PRIVATE POOL, is available for rental in  MAR,APR, MAY, SEPT & OCT. It has an open plan kitchen/lounge. Beams and stone fireplace. Fully fitted kitchen area with dishwasher, large upright fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave, electric oven and gas hobs. Downstairs shower-room with satellite tv with vcr/dvd. Sofa, armchairs and foldaway dining tables.

Upstairs the bedroom has air-conditioning, 1 double and 1 single bed, both available as required. French doors from the bedroom lead onto a raised balcony for alfresco dining and uninterrupted views over the local landscape. Great area for bird watching and star gazing. 

Private side garden with own entrance to back garden, pool area and watching the sunsets. Umbrella washing line, bbq. table and chairs front and back.

COTTAGE for group of 4 - using 1 en suite bedroom in the adjacent Farmhouse. This means being old enough to sleep in separate buildings but all catering together in the Cottage.

The Farmhouse and the Cottage are only a few metres apart.

COTTAGE for group of 5 or 6 - with EXCLUSIVE USE OF ALL FACILITIES- by using both en-suite bedrooms in the adjacent Farmhouse.  The Cottage is equipped for self-catering up to 6.

The Farmhouse dining room/lounge with its own tv and dvd player, would be for your sole use, as would be the pool, tennis court, games room etc. The Farmhouse and Cottage are only a few metres apart.

GAMESROOM - Table tennis, darts, outdoor games equipment. Poolside, there are loungers and picnic tables as well as inflatable animals for fun in the pool.

Cotton bed linen and house towels included.

nb. The maximum height in the Cottage bedroom is lower than usual and slopes down in line with the roof - further details on our own website or contact the owners.

Minimum rental 3 days

Châteaux, wine-tasting, tennis, walking, golf, cycling, fishing, horse riding, go-karting, conservation zoo, Puy du Fou, Futuroscope and more.  TENNIS and TABLE-TENNIS on site.

B&B in the Farmhouse most of the year except June,July and August or when one or both of the upstairs bedrooms are not being rented with the Cottage.

2 upstairs bedrooms both with en suite shower, wc and wash hand basin, air conditioning as well as a mini-fridge. Sat tv and dvd playerin the guests' dining room/lounge. The Cottage bedroom and its shower room is available as a 3rd B&B bedroom, if not being rented.

Zip linked super-king double beds or twins as preferred in the Farmhouse.

All facilities - pool, tennis court, table-tennis, etc. shared with owners and other guests.
