Gite named Bourgueil - 'Our Favourite' sleeps up to 6, this property boasts many original features, including an original fireplace made from the local tuffeau stone, a log burning fire, and beams throughout. "Bourgueil" enjoys beautiful views across the courtyard and into the vineyard and woodland beyond. A spacious property suitable for a family or 3 couples.
Gite named Chinon - Perfect for a family of 4 or 2 couples with a fabulous view of woodland across the courtyard. This property has its own barbecue, patio and garden furniture with access to the site's heated pool (between mid May to September months only), sun-bathing areas, and boules court.
Gite named Saumur - Bungalow style family house - sleeps 10 with 3 double and 2 twin bedrooms and large private garden

'Le Friche.' This beautifully renovated and furnished spacious cottage sleeps 6 and has shared access to a heated pool.
All of our properties have free-to-air sat tv, dvd players etc with family activities on-site. All of the kitchens are equipped with dishwashers, washing machines and all the mod cons. The properties have many beautiful features such as tuffeau stone fireplaces and log fires, most have beams throughout.
Linen and towels provided at no extra cost. Welcome pack provided. Pets welcome (with prior arrangement) - no smoking inside the properties.

| Location and activities: | In the village of Vernoil you will find a boulangerie, boucherie, pharmacie, Post Office, ironmongers and several small, typically French, bars. There is also a small supermarket on the edge of the village, with fresh bread, meat and fish counters. For those keen on cycling, walking or horse riding, there are many paths and routes through the forests to follow. In Saumur there are lakes and the river Loire for sporting activities such as sailing, kayaking, canoeing etc, and there are also lakes about a ten minute drive away at Rille and Homme, providing similar activities. You can fish just about anywhere in the Western Loire, on slow rivers and sparkling streams, in quiet ponds and deep lakes. The area has 26 fine golf courses. There is an excellent 18 hole course at Bauge, just 20 minutes drives from the gites, which also offers a snack bar, restaurant and has a golf shop. |
