Relaxing, spacious good feel cottage, set in large pear tree filled grounds, overlooking beautiful wooded countryside and the picturesque village of Barenton. All amenities including local cuisine restaurant, supermarket, many cafés, tennis court, public park, banks and pharmacy. Location is a walking and cycling heaven (7 adult/childrens bikes available). Horse riding - all levels 3 miles. Fishing and canoeing at Lac de Vesins 11 miles.
D-day beaches and Bayeux 1½ hrs, nearest beach 1hr, Mont St Michel 45 mins, Le Mans 24hr, 2hrs. St Hilaire leisure lakes 25 mins, Mortain overflows with WW2 history and is Normandys highest viewpoint and also swimming, karting and waterfalls.
Domfront 15 mins, 11th century walled town with half-timbered buildings and narrow cobbled streets.
Cottage. Kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, tumbledryer, washing machine, microwave cooker, highchair etc. Bathroom with separate shower, bath/shower, separate wc. Large beamed character lounge, side lighting, leather suite, 37" lcd tv, full Sky freesat channel, dvd and hi-fi. There is a large open fire and gas central heating.
Free unlimited use of cable or wi-fi up to 8mb broadband, using your own XP/Vista laptop. You can keep in touch with e-mails and phone via your Skype phone or look up some tourist infomation about whatever may be of interest in Normandy during your stay.
Bedrooms. Two double bedrooms one has French antique bed, and 1 bedroom with single bed and bunks bed plus Sky box tv/dvd, travelcot.
Gamesroom with slate bed pool table, professional air hockey, table tennis, table football, exercise strider.
Outside. 30 m zip wire 12ft enclosed trampoline, toddlers enclosure, wooden play centre, infants + junior swings, slide, net. Sun hammocks, stone bbq and numerous herbs for you to choose from.
Night lit 10 x 5m roman ended private pool, security fenced, 3ft -7ft, 6 inch deep, available May/end of September sunloungers.
Bed linen included in rental 1 set per week. Conditons may apply on discounted bookings.
