Our gites adjoin the main farmhouse in a hamlet off the beaten track in gorgeous countryside. Nestling in the heart of the Manche Peninsula and set in 10 acres of lovely gardens. You will experience utter peace and quiet with nothing to disturb you but the owls hooting at night time. Just a fifteen minute walk to Bricquebec, our quaint medieval market town. Between the beautiful, unspolit and safe Atlantic Beaches (15 mins drive) and the D-day landing beaches of the English Channel. Our nearest beach is the chic seaside resort of Barnville Carteret with their outstanding restaurants and daily ferry service to Jersey. There are many things to do here in Normandy, a holiday here suits children of all ages! The two gites (one 2 bed and one 3 bed) can be rented singly or together for larger parties. Additionally we offer bed and breakfast. The property is restored to a high standard with particular attention on quality furnishings. We have 9 free range chickens and use organic home-grown or local produce. Our hens browse everywhere; please don't invite them inside, although they will try to join you!

| Bedrooms: | Kestrel Gite has 2 bedrooms, Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and has an en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has twin 'zip link' divans in which can be joined to make a 6 foot king size bed. Both bedrooms will accommodate a childs cot or bed. All Bed linen provided. A travelcot is available, (please bring your own sheets and blankets for your little one). Barn Owl gite has two bedrooms downstairs, both en suite with a king size bed in one room and 2 zip linked divans in the second. These can be joined together to make a king size bed, if required. Both these rooms can accomodate a cot. The third bedroom upstairs has three single beds. Barn Owl Gite has 3 bedrooms. |

"A lovely Monday morning market which is enormous in the summer and previous guests have assured us, is certainly the best in the whole area. Local cheeses, wines, meats and organic vegetables as well as a couple of delicious saucisse and frites stalls! Livestock early on. Sit in one of the several coffee bars which surround the main square and watch the world go by. "
'D-Day Landing Beaches: Tours'
"We are close to the American end of the D-day beaches: if you are visiting Normandy, these are well worth a visit. We can also arrange either day long or two day tours for you with Ted Malandine: a renowned expert on the whole subject. His father was one of the official D-day British army photographers and his knowledge on the whole subject is enormous. See our own website for more details or email us to enquire."
'Just Ask! '
"We are a British family, living and working and going to school in Normandy. We speak French (the children are admittedly, better at it than the adults!) and have wholeheartedly thrown ourselves into the French way of life. We play tennis in Bricquebec; the courts and facilities, which can be used by our visitors, are excellent. We know all the best places (in our opinions) to eat, the nicest beaches, where to shop, what to visit, all the info on the D-day landing sites, and more. We can advise on what to do on a rainy day and our own website has lots more info than I can write here. "
