La Grange complex comprises a tastefully restored old Farmhouse and 3 gites on the edge of the quiet rural village of Villognon, just north of Angouleme.

There is a large swimming pool and covered games area with a pool table and table tennis, a petanque court and bicycles.
An hours drive North lies the historic city of Poitiers with the renowned Futuroscope, an hours drive to the East is the city of Limoges and the gateway to the Dordogne with its numerous chateaux and grottos including Lascaux with its prehistoric cave paintings. A short drive South there is Angouleme with its impressive Ramparts protecting the historic centre. Angouleme has a golf course, ten pin bowling and an excellent water sports centre (Nautilus Centre). Further West lies Cognac, La Rochelle and Royan. Visit Fort Boyard and the River Charente with its excellent fishing and canoeing.
