Le Petit Moulin provides everything you need for a perfect holiday in luxurious accommodation. There are 9 bedrooms all en suite. The kitchen is fully equipped with an American fridge with icemaker, gas hob, conventional oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, 2 coffee-makers, toaster, etc and opens out to the front and rear of the Mill allowing everyone to dine outside in sun or shade.
Set in its own lovely grounds with a 12 x 6m heated saltwater swimming pool, incorporating 3 x 4m heated childrens pool, Cabana, stone bbq, garden games, walkways, bridges and an orchard.
The house has a hotel linen service, house towels, utilities, cots and highchairs will be provided if needed (at no extra cost), bikes available free of charge. Chef services can be arranged. Wi-fi connection.
Excellent dining just 5 minutes drive away in beautiful riverside restaurants. Local activities include fishing, golf, horse riding, watersports, walking and cycling. Painting courses close by.
Le Petit Moulin is very well connected with the Roman towns of Saintes and St Jean-d'Angély which are 15 minutes away.
The airports of La Rochelle and Bordeaux are just over an hour away and the ferry port of St Malo is just 4 hours north.
With wonderful beaches just 35 minutes drive away and historic Cognac 25 minutes away, it is the ideal place to explore or relax and unwind in the Mills tranquil setting.
Four of the bedrooms over the east wing can be closed off, so it is possible to book with just 4 large double bedrooms plus garden room bedroom and still have use of the rest of the Mill.
For the 5 room option reduce the weekly rate by £400 (low season booking only)

| Bedrooms: | All bedrooms have en suite facilities. There are 5 double bedrooms, 3 twin bedded rooms. There is a queen size sofabed situated in the garden room which is in effect the ninth bedroom. The house lends itself to different size parties and the east wing of the Mill can be closed off for smaller parties |
| Bathrooms: | We have 8, one for each bedroom and all have wc, bath, shower and there is a downstairs wc/shower just off the dining room which also doubles as the bathroom for the 'Garden room' |
| Kitchen: | There is a large open plan modern kitchen which is fully fitted with the latest American style fridge, 5 ring gas hob, conventional electric oven and microwave, 2 coffee makers and a toaster. There is a central island which houses the sink, dishwasher and is a great place to congregate when cooking. There is also a large ancient rectangular dining table and chairs perfect for having breakfast with family and friends. The double doors at the rear of the kitchen lead you outside to a large patio area, perfect for al fresco dining or just relaxing during the heat of the day |
| Dining: | There is a large formal dining room which comfortably seats up to 18-20 people. In the dining room the millstream runs through the house to the millwheel at the rear of the property and there is a small wall suitable for seating and viewing the stream via a safety glass panel and the stream can be illuminated at night. |
| Living area: | The large salon has a traditional Charentaise open fireplace with large comfy couches and a 50 inch plasma tv with Freesat, Blu-Ray dvd and music system. The spacious entrance foyer can be used for reading, relaxing or just simply enjoying the ambience of the mill while having a coffee and a chat on the comfy sofas and the library area on the first floor landing provides even more relaxing space. |

"A fantastic restaurant 30 minutes drive from the Mill in the quaint town of Pont D'Abbe D'Arnoult.
They serve local Charantais cuisine and meats are grilled on an open fire at the front of the restaurant.
We highly recommend this eatery but reservation is needed in the summer months.
