It is set in the heart of the village of St Thomas de Conac with its own English run bar/bistro (2 minutes walk), patisserie for your morning croissants and shop. A 10 minute drive from the lovely village of Mirambeau with its chateau, supermarket, vet and shops.
This 3 bedroom villa has 2 undercover patios and superb decking area with a barbecue and outdoor dining table and chairs provided for al fresco eating. A large garden with perimeter fence - backgarden enclosed from May 2010 - allows room for badminton and ball games with the front of the house ideal for boules.
Local attractions include the beaches at Merchers just 25 minutes away, Europe's largest Zoo La Palmyre and the aquarium in La Rochelle. The picturesque village of Talmont is 30 minutes away, with its lovely boutiques and Blaye Citadel is nearby and are amongst the most visited attractions in France. The local ports and waterside restaurants are just a short drive away and there is a swimming pool in the village or superb leisure complex in Jonzac, 25 minutes.
Superb area for walking, cycling (4 bikes provided) with routes through vineyards and sunflower fields. Wine-tasting at award-winning vineyard just 10 minutes by bike. Paddling pool is also supplied.
