Location and activities: Set in a peaceful rural hamlet with miles of quiet lanes for cycling, walking and bird-watching. Watersports, horse riding, golf, fishing and "retail therapy" all an easy drive

La Grange Est - 1 double 1 twin.
L'Ecurie - 1 double, 1 triple, 1 double + single.
There are electric convector heaters in the bedrooms. Extra beds and cots are available. As grandparents we understand all of the extras you need to accommodate young children. Travelcots, low and highchairs, sterilisers, baby alarms, stairgates, buggies etc. just talk to us when you book
Bathrooms: Each cottage has 1 bathroom and 1 shower room all with hairdryers, heated towel rail and safety taps. All have a downstairs wc
Kitchen: Modern integrated kitchen with oven, microwave, 5-burner gas hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer as well as the usual small appliances
Dining: Contemporary french dining table and chairs with Limoges porcelain crockery. Outside, private patio for "al fresco" dining complete with gas bbq, tables, chairs and umbrellas for those warm balmy evenings
Living area: Open plan ground floor living area with ample settees and coffee-table, electric storage heaters and a selection of paperbacks
Entertainment on-site: Satellite tv, dvd player, internet connection both wi-fi and ethernet, assorted boardgames
Outside: 11.5 x 5m heated salt water pool in paved and lawned sunterrace with ample shade. Full sized pool table, table tennis, boules piste, large meadow for football, badminton, cricket and volleyball. Picnic tables and a slow meander to the trout stream, maybe for a spot of fishing. Tennis courts and a childrens playground are within the village
General: FOUR-STAR rating is not easy to achieve from the French Tourist Board. Based on our own experience of many family holidays in France, and with the help of a local architect we have created a French country holiday to be enjoyed.
