La Gaudane is a beautiful golden stone building which has been wonderfully restored to provide 4 separate apartments, each tastefully decorated and equipped to a very high standard.
La Gaudane sits majestically on the lower slopes of Cordes-sur-ciel just 400 meters from all facilities. Cordes-sur-ciel is the magical 13th century Bastide town, described as the finest example in South West France. La Gaudane has a large pool for all guests together with a boules court, and sporting equipment is available free of charge. Enjoy the wonderful terraces and gardens from where the incredible views will take your breath away. Local activities include golf, fishing, watersports, horse riding, walking and cycling.

"Visit the best example of a 13th century Bastide town in France. With its cobbled streets, portcullis and medieval buildings, Cordes-sur-Ciel is almost like a Disney set! And experience the multitude of activities in the area such as fishing, walking, golf, tennis, cycling, water parks and theme parks."
'Shop till you Drop!'
"Even the non-shoppers amongst us can't resist the amazing local markets - there is almost one everyday somewhere in the area. On Saturday mornings visit Corde's own market and buy the fantastic local produce and wonder at the lovely craft stalls - all produced by local people! On Sundays a definite must is the huge market at St Antonin-noble-val - here you will find all manner of local produce together with everything you would expect to buy in this beautiful region of South West France. Amble around Albi and do a spot of shopping here as well as sightseeing - the Toulouse Lautrec museum and the fantastic 13th century cathedral! For major shopping trips take the train from Cordes station to Toulouse (1 hour) and spend the whole day in this beautiful city."

"You really are spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out in this area! There are literally dozens of restaurants catering for all ages, tastes and budgets! Try the local specialities of salmon, duck and foie gras all washed down with the delicious local Gaillac wines.
